Tromso Norway| Best Place for Northern Lights and Whale Watching

Is watching Northern lights in your bucket list?
Then you must head to Tromsø, Norway. It is one of the best places to see the Northern lights or Aurora Borealis- nature’s own light show. Between October and March Northern Norway is dark from early afternoon until late morning, and the northern lights frequently soar across the sky.

This was our first trip to Tromsø and seeing northern lights for the first time was something special which we find very hard to express in words!! You must experience it yourself.

To visit Tromsø from India:
To visit tromsø from India will require a Schengen visa. Once you have the needed visa, you can fly to any of the major cities in Europe and then to any of the Norwegian city like Oslo, Bergen or Stavanger . I highly recommend you spend couple of days in before Oslo before heading to Tromsø. Norway has an elongated shape and Arctic Circle is really far from Oslo and Bergen, so make sure to factor enough time in your trip to actually get up there.
