Kalverstraat is a busy shopping street in Amsterdam. It runs from Dam Square to Muntplein square.
Kalverstraat - which means 'calf street' - begins on Dam Square. If you walk from Amsterdam Central Station and take Nieuwendijk Street, you have about 2.5 kilometers of shopping fun before you arrive at Muntplein.

In the street are mainly international and national retail chains for high street fashion, shoes and bags, like H&M, Zara, Lady Sting, Björn Borg, Levi jeans, Esprit, Sissy Boy, Nike, Mexx.
