Scandinavian moods - early days of my big solo ride!

Day 2

This was the 2nd day of my big solo motorcycle adventure.

I was still quite shaky and could hardly believe that this was really the start of a trip, that was supposed to last 1 year, but ended up lasting way longer!

It was August 2nd 2020 and I made it through Sweden and crossed the Norwegian border the day before, which was important, as I would otherwise have to go into quarantine in Norway due to Covid regulations.

Once in Norway, I didn’t have much to worry about as long as I stayed away from crowds! I planned to wildcamp as much as possible anyways, so I wasn’t too worried about running into people.

My route was from the shelter in Prestebakke to Moss, where I would cross the Olso fjord with a ferry to Horten. From there I would head to the Telemark area and find a place to camp.
