After getting a lot of info, especially videos on YouTube on how TUBLISS GEN 2.0 from Nüetech performs on enduro bikes, I decided to get them, front and rear wheel, for my Honda CRF 300 L and Mitas E07+ Enduro Trail tires. I mounted them at the tire garage Avilés Tires (Neumáticos Avilés) in Granada, Spain. This is probably the best tire garage for motor bikes in the city, highly experienced and also collaborating with official motor bikes' shops in the city. A few days after I got them mounted, I took my bike to the Honda garage in Granada to install another component, and the crew member working on my CRF 300 L told me to watch my wheels, because they came like flat tires... no air pressure. I thought it could have been a problem with the inner tube of the TUBLISS system. if it is not at the proper pressure, over 8 BARs, its function, keeping the air of the bigger chamber from getting out, does not perform properly and then the tire loses pressure. Each chamber were then reset at their proper pressure, and went away.

The next day I checked them again, and the inner, red chamber was at around 4 BARs... in both wheels. Again, I reset the air pressure, in both chambers and both wheels... but soon after the air pressure was lower. Obviously, the problem was that the red, inner tube in both tires were losing pressure, and then couldn't keep the pressure in the whole chamber. It wasn't safe riding the bike like that, and I wasn't willing to check the air pressure and eventually reset them every day I'd ride my bike. Probably, it was just a problem with the red, inner tubes in my tires, which had a defect since I bought them, and it is not the usual thing with TUBLISS tubes working as they should. I guess this is a great product, considering its great success...

Anyway, in my case was finally a waste of money, a few hundred for the pair plus installation, plus removing them… and a waste of time.

In this video, I show the whole process of removing the TUBLISS system, and being replaced for a conventional, reinforced inner tubes. I hope this video is useful for those considering about mounting TUBLISS on their bikes, and particularly if they want to know how to remove them. There are several technical comments from the person of the tire garage doing it.

Thanks to Neumáticos Avilés (Granada, Spain) and special thanks to Pablo for his kind collaboration.

Hey, by the way, I’ve made a full documentary of a long solo ride to Nordkapp (Norway) from the south of Spain… almost a month adventure along Europe, interviewing motor bikers I ran into on the road. It is a long one and you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/bbiA4-FH1k8 Although you can watch it also day by day. On my channel you’ll find those videos perfectly ordered in a list, if you’re interested.
